Tukwila Fire Department
for a hydraulic fluid spill in the parking lot at 3716 S 144 St.
On arrival (1614) L54 found a Coca Cola delivery truck that had burst a hydraulic lift line
at the rear of the cargo trailer. Fluid had spilled directly into a storm drain at the rear of
the truck.
Fluid was contained to the catch basin BELOW the storm drain.
HazMatl4 cancelled en route.
Verified with the driver (Josh Hubbell) that he had contacted his supervisor to arrange for
a private clean up company to come out and remove the oil from the storm drain.
L54 confirmed fmdings and action plan with Battalion 51, spread oil absorbant pads
around the storm drain and then left the scene.

On Wednesday, December 31 2014, at 1609, Ladder 54 and HazMat 14 were dispatched
for a hydraulic fluid spill in the parking lot at 3716 S 144 St.
