At 0912 hours on Monday February 9, 2015 we were dispatched to a hazardous condition.
Eight units were assigned to this incident. Ten personnel responded. We arrived on scene
at 0918 hours and cleared at 0956 hours. The incident occurred at 3215 S 116TH St,
Tukwila in District 007. The local station is 53. The general description of this property is
professional supplies, services. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding
personnel was investigation. Other special hoz mat actions were also taken. Automatic aid
was received on this incident.
Alarm number 1500564 has been assigned to this incident.
E53 arrived to a single story commercial business with a light odor of natural gas in the
front office area. E53 recon the building and found light odor only in office area. No odor
near gas washer/dryers and neither neighbor had any odor. No readings on our monitor.
E53 tied in with B51 and requested an evaluation from PSE. Pse arrived on location and
determined that the office HVAC unit was mis firing causing the gas odor. PSE stated to
keep heating unit off until service had been completed on the unit. Business manager
(Kevin White 206-336-4329) stated he had already contacted the landlord and service

PSE left the seen as did all fire units and turned ' ; over to the building occupancy
manager.
