At 1324 hours on Tuesday March 3, 2015 we were dispatched to an oil or other
combustible liquid spill. Five units were assigned to the incident. Ten personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1334 hours and cleared at 1353 hours. The incident
occurred at 15200 I-5 Fwy N, Tukwila in District 003. The local station is 52. The general
description of this property is highway or divided highway. The primary task(s) performed
at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was
given or received.
Alarm number 1500852 has been assigned to this incident.
E52 was dispatched to an oil spill from a semi truck that had its oil filter fall off. The spill
covered Lane 2 for several hundred yards, roughly from the 15300 block north to the
14500 block.
E52 investigated, and decided it did not have the resources to mitigate the incident. B51
stood by and other units were code greened. E52 requested WSP and DOT. When DOT
arrived, E52 and B51 returned in service.
In the twenty minutes that E52 was on scene, it observed no disruption of traffic - vehicles
