At 1125 hours on Saturday March 7, 2015 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other

Narratives
flammable liquid spill. Three units were assigned to this incident. Seven personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1135 hours and cleared at 1138 hours. The incident
occurred at 10400 Martin Luther King Jr Way S, TUKWILA m District 007. The local
station is 53. The general description of this property is street. The primary task(s)
performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic
aid was given or received.
Alarm number 1500921 has been assigned to this incident.
E52 dispatched and responded to a SPILL called in by WSP. While enroute information
updated that the spill was from a previous MVA and that some gasoline spilled onto the
roadway when the tow operator removed the car.
The tow company was able to handle the spill and the fire department was cancelled via
dispatch. As E52 was just arriving when the cancellation request came in, E52 proceeded
to the scene to ensure the fuel was controlled.
Once on location found the fuel spill had been adsorbed using adsorbent material put down
and currently picking up by the tow company. No action by the fire department was
needed. AJ
