Tukwila Fire Department
approximately 5 - 10 gallons of oil based paints. Spill was a result of a 2 vehilce MVA
with one vehicle being a full size van hauling approximately 100 gallons of paint materials.
E53 investigated in full ppe. Used two bags of amerizorb to prevent further leakage and
allow vehicle to be safely towed.
MVA had one patient who was evaluated and treated by E47.
Battalion 51 was first on scene and took command .
HM14 arrived, was on standby then released.

E53 dispatched to hazardous material spill . Upon arrival , spill was found to be
approximately 5 - 10 gallons of oil based paints. Spill was a result of a 2 vehilce MVA
with one vehicle being a full size van hauling approximately 100 gallons of paint materials.
E53 investigated in full ppe. Used two bags of amerizorb to prevent further leakage and
allow vehicle to be safely towed.
MVA had one patient who was evaluated and treated by E47.
