At 1001 hours on Sunday June 14, 2015 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. Six units were assigned to this incident. Seven personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1007 hours and cleared at 1252 hours. The incident
occurred at 13032 33 Ave S, Tukwila in District 015. The local station is 54. The general
description of this property is 1 or 2 family dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel were hazardous materials leak control and containment.

Alarm number 1502385 has been assigned to this incident.
L54, B51 and HM61 were dispatched to an unknown size fuel spill at the above location.
L54 arrived to fmd a 2012 Dodge Charger in the driveway with a small leak dripping from
undemeath the passengers side. I cancelled HM 61. L54 place a prowler pool under the
leak to collect the dripping gasoline. Per the owner of the car there was approximately 19
gallons of fuel in the car. The car had just been in to have the gas tank replaced and was
picked up last night from the shop.
E51 brought up the gas caddy to pump out the collected fuel from the pool. B74 was
consulted by B51 if they had any special tools to remove the fuel any faster. HM76/E76
were added to the call.
After several attempts to unsuccessfully remove the fuel it was determined to fill the
prowler pool with amerizorb and let it drain and evaporate over time.
All units returned in service.
