Tukwila Fire Department (LIVE)
investigation with no hazmat. Two units were assigned to this incident. Six personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1154 hours and cleared at 1219 hours. The incident
occurred at 13725 56 Ave S, Tukwila in District 002. The local station is 52. The general
description of this property is multifamily dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special had mat actions were also
taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.

At 1149 hours on Thursday August 27, 2015 we were dispatched to a hazmat release
investigation with no hazmat. Two units were assigned to this incident. Six personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1154 hours and cleared at 1219 hours. The incident
occurred at 13725 56 Ave S, Tukwila in District 002. The local station is 52. The general
description of this property is multifamily dwelling. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel was investigation. Other special had mat actions were also
taken. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received.

Narratives
E52 & E53 dispatched to an odor of natural gas in the area outside of the structure. Upon
arrival we found a slight on again off again odor on the SW corner of building D. We
investigated nearby properties. All areas investigated had no gas service. We monitored
the area with our gas detector which showed all normal levels. We received information
that a nearby propane company was burning off propane. I tied in with the manager and
stated that we were unable to determine the source, however, there was an active burn off
of propane in the general area. I stated that our meter showed normal levels. I told her that
if the odor got stronger to call us back but I was confident that it was coming from the burn
off as the wind direction was from the same area.
