At 2122 hours on Friday October 23, 2015 we were dispatched to a gasoline or other
flammable liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded.
We arrived on scene at 2130 hours and cleared at 2139 hours. The incident occurred at
16510 SOUTHCENTER Pky, Tukwila in District 006. The local station is 51. The general
description of this property is vehicle parking area. The primary task(s) performed at the
scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or
received.
Alarm number 1504522 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 dispatched to 16510 Southcenter Pky for a reported gasoline spill. The first due
Station is Station 51.
E51 arrived to find a 1 xl ft area of spilled gasoline under a vehicle with fuel at a slow
drip.
E51 investigated and spoke to the vehicle owner. He told E51 that he just had work
completed on the vehicle gas tank and drove to this location and smelled fuel. He saw fuel
leaking from under the vehicle. He called to have his vehicle towed and they would not
come until the fire department said it was safe to do so.
E51 observed the fuel at a slow drip and the 1 x 1 ft area evaporating.
E51 returned in-service.
