been worked on today and when they arrived home, there was an odor in the house. They
turned off the furnace and repaired part of the exhaust pipe. When they restarted the
furnace there was additional odor so they shut it off again. E53 used a gas monitor from
B51 to check the house and found normal readings. E53 advised the home owner to leave
the unit off till a repairman could return.

E53 was dispatched to a natural gas leak inside a residence. Upon arrival, we were met by
the occupant who advised that there was smell of fuel oil in their home. Their furnace had
