At 1549 hours on Wednesday December 16, 2015 we were dispatched to a gas leak. Eight
units were assigned to this incident. Fifteen personnel responded. We arrived on scene at
1554 hours and cleared at 1618 hours. The incident occurred at 17326 Southcenter Pky,
Tukwila in District 006. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is

mercantile, business. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel
was investigation. Automatic aid was received on this incident.
Alarm number 1505299 has been assigned to this incident.
L54 along with other first alarm units was dispatched to the above address for the odor of
gas inside a building. Upon our arrival we found a large single story strip mall with the
occupant in question evacuated. L54 entered the building with our gas monitor and
received zero reading of CO or any other hazardous gas. Oxygen was at 20.9%. There was
no odor of gas.
After further investigation it was determined that this particular occupant does not have gas
service and that a customer possible had gasoline on their shoes when they entered the
store. No hazards were detected and the store was allowed to reoccupy and all fire units
were cancelled on scene.
L54 returned in service.
