One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel responded. We arrived on scene at 2323 hours and cleared at 2335 hours. The incident occurred at 17770 SOUTHCENTER Pky, TUKWILA in District 006. The local station is 51. The general description of this property is restaurant or cafeteria. The primary task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was investigation. No mutual/automatic aid was given or received. Alarm number 1600860 has been assigned to this incident. E51 sent to investigate a possible cooking oil spill at a restaurant by B51. E51 arrived and tied in with the manager who showed us where the spill had occurred. The waste oil container had been emptied earlier in the day and was damaged when it was returned to its storage spot. E51 found the drain, approximately 6" square immediately adjacent to the south side of the building near the rear kitchen entrance on east side of the ramp. E51 investigated the storm drain located in the access road to the south of the building and found no evidence of the oil getting into the storm sewer system, the water was below the outfall pipe and no oil sheen was seen on the water inside the drain. E51 returned in service and tied in with B51 upon returning to station 51. See B51 narrative for additional information. apt James R.
