At 1210 hours on Wednesday April 27, 2016 we were dispatched to an oil or other
combustible liquid spill. One unit was assigned to this incident. Three personnel
responded. We arrived on scene at 1215 hours and cleared at 1221 hours. The incident
occurred at 16100 Southcenter Pkwy, Tukwila in District 004. The local station is 51. The
general description of this property is street or road in commercial area. The primary
task(s) performed at the scene by responding personnel was hazard removal. No
mutual/automatic aid was given or received.
Alarm number 1601854 has been assigned to this incident.
E51 to respond to an oil spill from an MVA that has already been cleared on Southcenter
Pkwy at the west entrance to southcenter mall. There was an earlier non injury rollover
mva. The oil was left behind when the car was towed.
On arrival to fmd a 1'X3' oil spot in the Southbound inside lane. E51 blocked traffic for
the lane while E51 third spread Amerizorb across the oil. We used 1/2 of a bag of
amerizorb on the spill. The TPD incident number is #TP160010747.
E51 is returning in service.
