Ms. Striker walked into station 54 asking if we could check her
residence. She stated she had some torments: that left some chemicals
and -other items that lead her to believe that they had a. meth -lab
there. We called for PD to come to sta. 54. We explained the situation
to Officer E. Hanes. We agreed to go and look at the home and see what.
was there. Ms. Striker reported seeing bottles with tubes coming out, a
bottle of acid and a hot plate. The.tennan.ts that were living there
had been. evicted and were not currently at the house.
We went to the residence and Ms. Striker showed us to the back shed.
She stated someone had been there and cleaned it up since she was
there. We could not find any bottle with tubes. The hot plate was in
the house and had no signs of being used to cook meth. The surface was
not rusted and the burners themselves were in fairly good shape. We
did find one bottle of acid. it was meuratic acid. It wasin a new
bottle and was full. We found nothing that could be soler linked
to a drug lab. We did not smell any odar of ether or alcohal.
We informed her 'that we did not see anything on that indicated
there was a drug lab there. She stated she knew who the people were
that were there and could provide that information. I referred her to
PD, if they had an interest. I told her there is nothing we could do
with their names.
