Engine 51 proceeded code yellow to investigate, upon arrival we found a gas spill 4' X 40'in the parking lot. We used two bags of rice hull ash to absorb the gas. In talking to the cars owner Mr. Zeman, he stated he was trying to get the car running as it had quit the night before, and he had parked it, here. He stated the drain plug fell out of the gas tank, but he was able togetanother bolt in the tank. He stated he was not trying to drain the gas out of the car, but said he had run over something the night before and it must have been damaged then. In, looking at the tank it did have a dent in it which looked .anew", but it was on the other side of the tank from the drain plug. We ensured all gas spilled was absorbed and also put some under the vehicle which also had a small puddle of gas under it, 5outhcenter. security was going: to contact maintenance to come pickup the rice hull ash and dispose of it. Mr. Zeman was advised not to drive the vehicle, or try to attempt to put more, gas in it untilproper repairs were made to the drain plug. Engine 51 returned to quarters.
