TUKWILA FIRE DEPARTMENT INCIDENT REPORT NARRATIVE
Date: 09/13/98 Incident: 98-003140-000
Dispatched to a gasoline spill. Upon arrival an employee of the
Fantasy Express advised us that she witnessed 2 white males in a blue
car putting glass container of some sort, that had gasoline in it, in
the dumpster behind the business. She thought it was gasoline because
of the color of the liquid in the container. We looked the dumpster
over and could smell an odar of gasoline, but could not find any
liquid. The witness also stated she saw them with a blue rag that they
threw into the dumpster. We found that rag and it had a strong odar of
gasoline on it. I called for PD to come and take a report from the
witnesses.
Officer K. Boyd of the Tukwila Police Department, came and took the
report. His case number is 98-7847. He will file the report with his
department, and I asked him to send the fire department a copy for us
to file with our records.
We saturated the dumpster with water and released the scene to the
manager and PD.
I will foward a copy of this report to fire prevention.
