GRISHAM Officer in charge: Pae 1 TUKWILA FIRE DEPARTMENT INCIDENT REPORT NARRATIVE Date: 07/19/99 Incident: 99-002346-000 Ms. Harrison called station 54 on our station phone. She asked if there was something she needed to do to shut off the gas at her work. I questioned her enough to get information of where she was and what the problem was. I then istructed her to evacuate the building and call 911. We began our response then. Upon arrival we found the employee sitting outside the structure. She stated she was not feeling well. I had A-54 check her out. We entered the structure and found a strong odar of natural gas in the structure. I attempted to shut off the gas at the grills, but the valve was coated with grease and I could not get it to shut off. We then shut it off outside at the main regulator. We also ventilated the structure. I called for PSE to come to the scene. They arrived and took readings. There were no readings. We then turned the building over to him and the employees. A-54 treated the employee.
