An ordinance vacating right-of-way within the City of Tukwila dedicated for street
purposes, generally described as unnamed right-of-way in the 14000 block of Interurban
Avenue South located east of Interurban Avenue South and west of the Duwamish River.
Vacation of the right-of-way was initiated by the passage of Resolution No. 2053 by the
Tukwila City Council. The intent of the vacation is to merge the vacated right-of-way with
the George Long Shops property so that the same can sold to King County for use as a
future habitat restoration and flood control project site.
For those unable to attend the meeting either on-site or remotely, you may submit written
testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
The City strives to accommodate people with disabilities. Reasonable accommodations are
available at the public hearing with advance notice. This notice is also available in alternate
formats for individuals with disabilities. Please contact the City Clerk's Office at
TukwilaCityClerk@TukwilaWa.gov for assistance.
