WARNING: Both structures are hereby declared to be unsafe, unlawful, and/or
unfit for human occupancy, and, therefore "Unsafe To Occupy". You are hereby
required to complete tasks listed in the "Corrective Action Required" section
below no later than the stated deadline.
If this Notice is not complied with, the City of Tukwila may institute the
appropriate proceeding at law or in equity to restrain, correct, or abate the
violations. Any action taken by the City on these premises shall be charged
against the property and shall be a lien on the real estate. You have the right to
appeal this Notice, pursuant to TMC 8.28.020(B)(5) and TMC Chapter 8.45.

CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED:
1. Cease the occupancy of the house and detached garage and board the
house and detached garage to unauthorized access.
Cease the occupancy of the house and detached garage by October 31,
2022.

Board the house and detached garage by November 14, 2022.
NOTE: It has been nine (9) months since this code enforcement case
opened and seven (7) months since development permit D22-0074 was
applied for. Correction Letter #1 was issued on June 29, 2022 and the City
has not received any revised plans. Also, the submitted plans did not show
the complete remodel of the house and the plans were submitted as
"Accessory Dwelling Unit".
2. Submit the corrected plans which include the house and detached garage
as outlined in the June 29, 2022, Correction Letter #1.
Submit complete, corrected plans by October 31, 2022.
3. Additional permits are required, which include but not limited to, Electrical,
Plumbing & Gas, and Mechanical. Please contact the Department of
Community Development at 206-431-3670 and ask to speak with a Building
Plans Examiner regarding additional permit requirements for the extensive
remodel of the house and detached garage.
Once the Development Permit / Building Permit is issued, then apply for
ALL additional required permits.
UNTIL ALL PERMITS HAVE BEEN INSPECTED AND
FINALED, THE HOUSE & THE DETACHED GARAGE
CANNOT BE OCCUPIED FOR ANY REASON.
