Tukwila, Washington The attached plans have been Accepted as meeting requirements for classification as a sprinklered risk: The following revisions or additions to the design as shown would qualify the protection for improved rates based upon information shown on these plans. Arrangements should be made to allow a representative of this Bureau to complete a cover inspection of all piping before it is concealed by building construction and to witness tests of the local alarm and 2 -inch water supply test pipe. Completed copies of the Contractor's Material and Test Certificates for both the overhead and underground piping should be submitted to this Bureau. All piping, valves, and fittings should be listed and labeled by UL for fire service and installed, tested, and flushed in accordance with NFPA standards. A minimum temperature of 40°F must be maintained with a thermostatically controlled heating system in all areas containing wet pipe sprinkler equipment. Upsize 3 -inch crossmain to 3'/2 -inch where noted with red pencil mark to meet NFPA 13 ordinary pipe schedule. Provide hanger between each sprinkler head and intermediate hangers between all branch lines. 3. Provide hangers for all armovers which exceed 24 inches in length. Provide complete hanger details. 3. Replace any 165°F sprinkler with 212°F sprinklers in blind roof spaces. 4.
