Mr. hadford moved Ord. r 332, relating to a system of Sewage for Tukwila and amending Sec. 5, 6 and 7 of Ord. 320 and Sec.3 of Ord. #321 of Tukwila, be placed on its second reading, seconded by Litt. namilton and carried. Mr. namilton moved Ord. 332 be placed mn its third reading and final passage, seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried. An Agreement by and between Puget Western, Inc. and the Town of Tukwila, guaranteeing payment of sewage disposal charges, maintenance and operation expenses of water works utility and sewage system and debt services requirements of bonds was read and discussed. j +ir. namilton moved Council approve this agreement, seconded by Mr. ives and carried. Mr. Minkler moved the Mayor and Clerk of Tukwila be authorized to sign this agreement for the Town of Tukwila, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. Mr. C. V. Fawcett, with McLgen and Company, presented a proposal of McLean and Company, Inc. to buy Tukwila Water and Sewer hevenue Bonds. Mr. Minkler moved Council accept this proposal of McLean and Company, seconded by Mr. namilton and carried. Mr. Hamilton moved Ord. 334, providing for issuance of :,170,000 'c "Water and Sewer Revenue bonds, 1961 be placed on its first reading, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried. Mr. Hamilton moved Sec. 7, paragraph (b) be amended by adding "State and Federal" before "taxes line 19, to read "maintenance costs and State and Federal taxes seconded by Mr. Ives and carried. Mr. Ives moved Ordinance 334, as amended as above, be placed on its second reading, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. nor. Mr. Hamilton moved Ord. 333, granting a franchise to the City of Seattle to use portions of town streets for a 60 in. water line, be placed on its second reading, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried. Mr. Minkler moved Ord. 333 be amended and corrected as proposed by discussion, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. Mr. namilton moved Ordinance 331, as amended be placed on its third reading and final passage, seconded by Mr. Ives and carried. Meeting was recessed at 11 :00 P.M. to meet on August 21, at 8 :00 P .M. August 21, 1961(continued) Mr. iviinkler moved the adoption of resolution No. 139, authorizing the iviayor and Town Clerk to execute releases of easements to certain 1 four inch waSser stapply mains in and about property of Puget Western, Inc. and Southcenter Corporation, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. mayor Baker asked Mr. Radford, Chairman of Street Committee, to study, with committee members, the requirements of streets in the Development. Mr. Wells B. McCurdy, Vice President of Puget Western, Inc., submitted to the Council commitments intended to provide the basis for the vacation of So. 162nd St. and dedication of the recently completed road running between the intersection of So. 160th St. and 53rd Ave. So. and 54th Ave. So. Mr. Hamilton moved So. 162nd St. as described above, be vacated and a public hearing on sane be set for September 18, 1961, at 8:00 P.M., seconded by Mr. iriinkler and carried. Puget Sound Power Light Co. presented a request to install Or temporary overhead power lines on the Development property to be placed below ground not later than July 1, 1962. Mr. lamilton moved this request be granted, seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried. A Contract presented by Puget Sound Power Light Co. relating to Water Pumping was turned over to Mr. Minkler for further study. Mr. Hamilton presented a request that north American Tower G Dock Co., Inc. be issued a business license for light machine work �at required to manufacture radio television towers and boat docks, to be located at 6400 S. 154th, Tukwila. Mr. hamilton moved the request be granted and the business license issued, seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried. Mr. Zepp, 'Water Supt. and the Council talked over the advisability of moving the meter. Mr. idinkler moved to approve this change, seconded by i:'ir. i'iamilton and carried. vir.
