by the Mayor, Charles O. Baker, at Councilmen present were
Stan Minkler, A. G. hadford, E. W. Ives and J. A. Hamilton.

fir. i read from Mr. Bays Evans, Sanitation engineer, a reply
from a protest from t e Town of Tukwila regarding burning at the garbage
collection area near the 5. W. town limits. :,ir. Evans state there was
an attendant at the dump who tried to control any burning which might
develop, allowing only the burning of brush which could not be burned
on the home ptiemises.
Specifications for the new Fire truck were presented to the Council
who examined them. Mr. Hamilton moved Council approve them, seconded by
Mir. Minkler and carried.
Mr. Hamilton moved the adoption of Resolution No. 140, a contract
with Puget Sound Power Light Co. for Municipal Water Pumping, seconded
by Mr. Ives and carrried.
By motion meeting recessed at 9 :45 to meet on October 16, at 3 p.m.
