The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Mown Council was called to
order by the :Mayor, Charles, baker at 8:00 P._.i. Councilmen
present were Stan Minkler, E. W. Ives, R. K. Doyle and J. A. Aamilton.
Mr. Burzenski reported that the official Tukwila boundaries have
been determined and the findings accepted by County Commissioners.
Mr. Doyle moved the adoption of esolution No. 141, providing for
a Public nearing on the proposed vacation of certain town streets,
seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried.
A bill from Seattle City Light of X1,407.00 for easements for
L.I.D. Utilities was presented, to be paid from Water r Sewer Const.
Fund. Mr. Minkler moved the bill be allowed and a warrant drawn for sate,
seconded by Mr. Ives and carried.

:dr. Ives moved Ord. 337 amending Ord. 249 be placed on its t
first reading, seconded by :r. Hamilton and carried. ':r. Ives moved
Ord. 337 be placed on its second reading, seconded by :r. Jamilton
and carried. Jr. Ives moved Ordinance 337 be placed on its third reading
and final passage, seconded by Mr. Minkler and carried.
Mayor Baker appointed Jr. Parker, Town .arshal, as Dog Pound
:,:aster and Earl Decker his assistant. Mr. Doyle moved Council approve
this appointment, seconded by Mr. Minker and carried.
Fioreto reported he had bought the property on Interurban Avenue South
where excavation has been in progress. He asked for permission
to continue his work there. Mr. Burzenski recommended permission be
granted and the town be given a certificate of insurance carried.
Mr. Fiorito promised to provide such certificate. moved
a permit be granted to the N. Fiorito Company to complete the exca-
vation, based on present mperations at Interurban Ave. So. near
South 144th Street seconded by Mr. Ives and carried.
Mr. Doyle moved the adoption of ties Resolution 142, approving a revision
of limited access on a portion of Highway iJo. 1 -L to PSH.]o. 1
Freeway, seconded by 'dr. inkler and. carried.
Mr. Hamilton moved the adoption of Resolution 143 authorizing the
layor of Tukwila to enter into a stabilization pond lwase with
Puget Western, seconded by Jr. Ives and carried.
Mr. Doyle moved the adoption of Resolution 144 authorizing the Mayor
and Clerk of Tukwila to release certain easements and execute quit
claim deeds to certain water pipelines easements in Tukwila, seconded
by ,Ir. Hamilton and carried.
Mr. Doyle moved Ordinance 333 accepting a Deed of Dedication from
Puget Western for a new road known as Slade Way be placed on its
first reading, seconded by Mr. Hamilton and carried. Mr.. Ives moved
Ord. 338 be placed on its second reading, seconded by :r. Hamilton
and carried. Hr. Doyle moved Ordinance 338 be placed on its third
reading and finial passage, seconded by Mr. :amilton and carried.
lw'r. Doyle moved Ordinance 339 forbidding sale and storage of gasoline,
kerosene, solvents and similar liquids in glass containers, be placed
on its first reading, seconded by Mr. Minkier and carried.
Hamilton moved Ordinance 339 be placed on its second reading, seconded by
Mr. Doyle and carried. Mr. Doyle moved Ordinance 339 be placed on its
third reading and final passage, seconded by Jr. Hamilton and carried.
