Adjustment from January 15, 1979 to March 2, 1992; and
WHEREAS, while on the Board of Adjustment she successfully facilitated the
evaluation of many complex issues; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Regel was dedicated to her community, and served the City
with diligence and distinction representing Tukwila as a member of the 1981 visiting
delegation to our Sister City of Ikawa, Japan; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Regel's actions, as a Board of Adjustment member and as a
citizen, reflect the true spirit of community service; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Regel earned the respect of the Tukwila community and City of
Tukwila staff; and
WHEREAS, the City is saddened by Mrs. Regel's death on January 11, 1993 at the
age of 90 years;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Mayor Rants, Councilmembers and Citizens of Tukwila honor the
memory of Mrs. Marcelle Regel, outstanding citizen.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
This resolution shall be placed in the records of the City of Tukwila
and a copy shall be forwarded to the family of Mrs. Regel.

at a regular meeting thereof this 18th day of January 1993.
