A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
RESOLUTION 1217 TO ALLOW GREATER
FLEXIBILITY IN CONDUCTING SALARY STUDIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council on August 3, 1992 approved Resolution 1217
establishing a salary schedule and philosophy, and
WHEREAS, wage analysis can be done equally well by consultants or by
administrative staff, and
WHEREAS, it is important to maintain flexibility with regards to such wage
analysis;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 4. Wage Analysis of Resolution 1217 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
Every three years, beginning in the Spring of 1993, the City shall conduct
a wage analysis for the purpose of bringing the non represented wages
into compliance with the City's compensation policy. Such a study may
have the facts and data gathered by staff or a consultant, but the elected
officials shall perform the analysis.
