A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING FOR VACATION OF CERTAIN RIGHT
OF -WAY, GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THAT PORTION OF
SOUTH 147TH STREET EXTENDING FROM INTERURBAN
AVENUE TO APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET WEST.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has determined that said petition was signed by the
owners of more than two thirds of the property abutting the right -of -way sought to be
vacated; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 35.79.010, the City Council will hold a public
hearing for the purpose of considering said petition for right -of -way vacation;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing upon the vacation of certain public right -of -way, as
initiated by James M. Saghi, Plaza One Building, 14675 Interurban Ave. S., generally
described as that portion of South 147th Street extending from Interurban Avenue to
approximately 250 feet west, a public street being 20 feet in width as dedicated in the Plat of
Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts, recorded in Volume 11 of Plats on Page 24, records of King
County, Washington, shall be held before the Tukwila City Council in the City Council
Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, Washington, at 7:00 p.m.
or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard on April 12, 1993, which is not less than
twenty (20) nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of passage of this resolution, at
which time all persons interested in said right -of -way vacation are invited to appear and be
heard.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to post written notice of pendency of the public
hearing in three public places in the City of Tukwila and in one additional conspicuous place
on the right -of -way sought to be vacated at least twenty (20) days prior to the date set for
hearing.

a regular meeting thereof this 15th day of March 1993.
