ORDINANCE NO. 215
AN ORDINANCE LICENSING PINBALL AND AMUSEMenT MACHINES AND SIMILAR
GAMES OF SKILL IN THE TOWN OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE LICENSE
FEES THEREOF AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 176.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKEILA,WASHINGTFN:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, Firm or corporation to
own, operate or maintain any pin ball or amusement machine
or similar gates of skill within the corporate limits of the Town of
Tukwila, Washington, without having first secured a license therefor.
Section 2. Every person,firm or corporation operating one(i) to ten(10)
inclusive, pin ball or amusement machines or similar games
of skill shall procure from the Town Treasurer a Master License for the
operation of the same, which Master License shall be issued upon the
payment of a sum not to exceed $300.00
The following schedule shall prevail:
$100. per each pin ball machine
30.00 per each amusement machine
Section 3. Every person, firm or corporation operating eleven(11) to
twenty(20), inclusive, pin ball or amusement machines or
similar games of skill shall procure from the Town Treasurer a Master
License for the operation of sate, which Master License shall be issued
upon the payment of the sum of FIVE HUNDR.ED(5500.00) DOLLARS.
Section 4. Every person, firm or corporation operating more than twent
(20)pin ball or amusement machines or similar games of skill
shall procure from the Town 'Treasurer a Master License for the operatio
of same, which Master License shall be issued upon the payment of the
sum of ONE THOUSAND (51000.00) DOLLARS.
Section 5. The Master License Fees set forth in this Ordinance shall be
for the calendar year, such fees are due and payable on
January first.

6. Any person,firm or corporation, after having received said
Master License may then operate said pin ball or amusement
or similar game of skill, within the Town of Tukwila, upon the
to the Town Treasurer thereof, of the sum of FIVE(5.00)
on the firsla of each month for each machine
Section 7. Any person, firm or corporation, after having received said
Master License may then operate a ONE CENT(.01¢') pin ball
or amusement machine or similar games of skill, within the Town of
Tukwila, upon the payment, to the Town Treasurer thereof, of the sum
of TWO (yii2 DOLLARS and fifty cents on the first of eamh month for
each one(.01) cent machine.
Section S. Ordinance No.. 176 is hereby repealed.
Section 9. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the pro-
visions of this Ordinance shall be punished by a fine not
exceeding the sum of ONE lIJNDRED(100.00) DOLLARS: and any machine not
so licensed may be subject to confiscation by the Town Marshal of the
Town of Tukwila.
Section 10.This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
final passage and approval by the Mayor.
