Resolution No. 1265 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, THANKING ELANOR McLESTER FOR
FIFTEEN YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE ON TUKWILA'S CIVIL
SERVICE COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Elanor McLester was first appointed to fill a vacancy on the Civil
Service Commission in December 1977, and
WHEREAS, since her appointment Ms. McLester has served continuously for
over fifteen years, including serving as Chairperson since 1986, and
WHEREAS, Ms. McLester has contributed her knowledge, leadership,
dedication and commitment to making the Civil Service Commission an effective body
during her terms, and
WHEREAS, her presence will be greatly missed by her fellow commissioners
and by city staff,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
On behalf of the citizens of Tukwila, the Mayor and City Council express
their sincere thanks to Elanor McLester for over fifteen years of service to
the City.
