Resolution No. 1269 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR CONSTRUC-
TION ROPPO ROCKERY REPLACEMENT AT SOUTH 149TH
STREET AND 62ND AVENUE SOUTH.
WHEREAS, the City did solicit competitive Bids for the Roppo Rockery Replacement at
South 149th Street and 62nd Avenue South; and
WHEREAS, such bids were opened by the City Clerk's Office and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on
June 30, 1993; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from Parsons Brothers Rockeries, D.A. Zuluaga Construction,
and P K Contractors Inc.; and
WHEREAS, each bid was reviewed for conformance to the formal bid specifications issued at
the time bids were solicited; and
WHEREAS, the low bid by Parsons Brothers Rockeries exceeded the budgeted amount and
the Engineer's Estimate for the project;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. All bids for the Roppo Rockery Replacement are hereby rejected.
Section 2. All Bid Bonds shall be returned to the prospective bidders without penalty.
PASSED BY THE CITY C-O,UNCIL OF CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this /fn day of �g� 1993.
