The Park's Department will be requiring the following signage and traffic cones for the
use of the trail.
It will be listed as a required condition on you permit and the inspector will be checking
that it is completed when the inspect Friday morning,
1) Install signage on the shoulder of the trail (not the asphalt) on Thu-sday August 10th
of their event and the impact it will have on the trail on the 11th through the 13th with
the times of the processions listed.
2) Install cones to direct trail users around anything that is protruding onto the trail (last
year they had a large wooden ramp and other items too (I noticed it on my way
home last year and stopped by the site and proceeded to scramble with another
parks guys to get cones out to direct trail users around the stuff).
3) Provide a map detailing how the cones will be placed and where and what their
verbiage on the signs will say. This shall be provided before the actual event.
I will be in and out of meetings all day tomorrow, so just respond to the email and attach
the drawing and the verbiage of the signs.
