The supervisory trip outputs are programmable remotely via the www.TelguardOnline.com site or locally with a butt -set. The programming options for these supervisory trip outputs can be any combination of ACFC. LBC, LFC, NSC, RFC, and DTF. NOTE: UL Listed installation of the TG -7 CDMA will at a minimum have a trip output connected to the alarm panel to indicate low A/C (ACFC) and low battery (LBC). Check Proper Operation of Telguard Supervisory Output Check for proper operation of each programmed supervisory output by causing it to trip the alarm panel and making sure the proper LED illuminates. Skip the testing of any supervisory functions that have not been enabled. If necessary, reprogram the alarm panel to send proper alarm code when tripped by the Telguard's supervisory output. Step 6: Connect and Test the Trip Input (optional) In addition to the interface to the alarm panel, a single trip input may be connected to the terminal block of the TG -1 ExpressTG-4 CDMA. When the input is tripped, a supervisory message is sent to the central station via the Telguard Communications Center. The functionality of the Trip input can be customized via the www.TelguardOnline.com site or by a Telguard Customer Service representative. UL Note: Trip input is not evaluated when connected to Burglary/Fire Zones on the panel. For UL installations, these zones shall not be connected to the Trip Input. Step 7: Complete the Telguard Installation The last step is to permanently mount the Telguard. 1. Attach earth ground to the grounding screw located on lower right-hand corner of printed circuit board assembly and permanently mount the Telguard enclosure 2. Install mounting screws and slide the enclosure onto these screws 3. Close the enclosure door and lock it UL Installation Requirements Summary Household Household Burglary Fire Household Combination Central Station Burg Central Station Burg Police Connect Burg Grade A Bank Safe and Vault* Commercial Fire Commercial Fire &Central Station Burg TG -7 CDMA TG -7 CDMA TG7FS CDMA TG -7 CDMA TG-7FS CDMA TG -7A CDMA TG-7A CDMA TG-7A CDMA CDMA TG-7FS CDMA TG -7A COMA Telguard Model o O 0 Y Y Y Y 0 Y UL Listed Bell/Bell Housing ** O O 0 O O 0 Y Y Y AC transformer lines in flexible conduit. An essential combination for any installation. IntelliKnight heat detectors are an essential component in virtually any IntelliKnight installation. The IntelliKnight panel recognizes each detector by its specific address, so precious seconds are not wasted in determining location of an alarm. Like other IntelliKnight detector models, the SD505-AHS offers a low profile for pleasing aesthetics. The IntelliKnight family of detectors has been designed to use a common base, Model SD505-6AB, allowing complete application and placement flexibility. Combine all this with the features you've come to expect from Silent Knight detectors—easy installation, stable operation, RF/transient protection, and vandal -resistant locking—and it adds up to a flexible solution for all your fire protection needs. Model SD505-AHS Addressable Heat Detector The SD505-AHS is a heat detector suited to virtually any commercial setting. The SD505-AHS is an absolute temperature device. This means that it responds in alarm if the temperature goes above the trip point (programmed at the panel). The SD505-AHS provides accurate temperature measurement data to the fire alarm control panel. This heat detector is particularly suited to environments where smoke detectors cannot be used because of the presence of steam or cooking fumes, such as in a kitchen. Operation The SD505-AHS unit is made up of an externally mounted thermistor with a specially designed cover that protects the thermistor while allowing maximum air flow. The thermistor reads the temperature from the air it takes in. It then transmits a signal representing the temperature to the IntelliKnight panel. If the temperature exceeds the trip point (programmed at the panel), an alarm occurs. The status LED lights continuously during the alarm period. Under normal conditions, the status LED blinks approximately every 15 seconds, indicating that the head is communicating with the loop. Features • Low profile, 2 inches, including base • Absolute temperature device • Simple and reliable addressing • Uses digital communication protocol • The SD505-AHS is UL Listed and meets the requirements outlined in NFPA 72 Inspection Testing and Maintenance, Chapter 7. • CFSM listed • MEA listed • FM approved SILENT KNIGHT PAID by Honeywell 1.*, TUKWILA FIRE 7f21' lay 'cW SD505-AHS Heat Detector Specifications Operating Voltage: 17 to 41 VDC Current Consumption: Standby: Alarm: .55 mA .55 mA Detection Temperature Range: 135°F to 150°F (57°C TO 65°C) Ambient Temperature: 32°F to 120°F (0°C to 492C) Mounting: 4" SOR, 4" OCT Single gang mud ring Rated Spacing: 70' between sensors on smooth ceilings.
