Resolution No. 1270 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR CONSTRUC-
TION OF BARRIER FREE ACCESS IMPROVEMENTS AT FOSTER
GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE.
WHEREAS, the City did solicit competitive Bids for the Barrier Free Access Renovation of
the Foster Golf Links Club House; and
WHEREAS, such bids were opened by the City Clerk's Office and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on
July 7, 1993; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from Nordic Construction, Polestar Construction, and
Buchanan General Contracting; and
WHEREAS, each bid was reviewed for conformance to the formal bid specifications issued at
the time bids were solicited; and
WHEREAS, the bid documents submitted by Nordic Construction and Polestar Construction
did not meet the specifications for the conveying systems element of the bid proposal; and
WHEREAS, the bid by Buchanan General Contracting exceeded the budgeted amount and the
Engineer's Estimate for the project;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. All bids for the Barrier Free Access Renovation for Foster Golf Links Club House
are hereby rejected.
Section 2. All Bid Bonds shall be returned to the prospective bidders without penalty.
