Value of Construction — In all cases, a value of construction amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be
reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Fire Marshal to comply with current fee schedules.
Expiration of Plan Review -Every permit issued shall become invalid unless the work on the site authorized by such permit
is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or if the work authorized on the site by such permit is suspended or
abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work is commenced. The Fire Marshal is authorized to grant, in
writing, one or more extensions of time, for periods not more than 180 days each. The extension shall be requested in writing
and justifiable cause demonstrated.

DEMOLITION NOTES
1. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL EXISTING UTILITIES AND EQUIPMENT,
RELOCATE EXISTING UTILITIES AS REQUIRED FOR NEW WORK. NOTIFY OWNER OF CONFLICTS.
2. PROTECT ALL EXISTING CONSTRUCTION THAT IS TO REMAIN FROM DAMAGE DURING
DEMOLITION. BRACE AND SUPPROT ALL WORK UNTIL IT IS PROPERLY REMOVED OR INCORPORATED
INTO NEW CONSTRUCTION.
3. THE BUILDING WILL BE OCCUPIED DURING CONSTRUCTION. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
COORDINATING WORK WITH BUILDING MANAGEMENT.
4. ADJACENT PROPERTIES, STREETS AND WALKS ARE TO BE PROTECTED FROM DAMAGE AT ALL
TIMES.
5. DURING THE COURSE OF WORK, IF THE EXISTENCE OF ASSESTOS OR MOLD IN THE STRUCTUI.E
OR BUILDING IS OBSERVED, THEN CONTRACTOR SHALL PROMPTLY NOTIFY OWNER AND ARCHITECT
REGARDING REMOVAL OR ENCAPSULATION OF THE ASBESTOS OR MOLD MATERIAL AND
CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT PERFORM ANY WORK PERTINENT TO THE ASBESTOS OR MOLD MATERIAL
PRIOR TO RECEIPT OF SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FROM OWNER THROUGH THE ARCHITECT.

8. IDENTIFY AND TAG ALL ELECTRICAL WIRING 4 DEVICES, PHONE WIRING AND DEVICES, COMPUTER
CABLING, ETC. THAT IS TO BE RETAINED. REMOVE ALL OTHER WIRING 4 DEVICES NOT REQUIRED
FOR NEW WORK. ALL SURFACE MOUNTED WIRING IS TO BE REMOVED OR RELOCATED INSIDE
