Chair Quinn called the meeting to order.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Citywide Facilities Overview
Staff provided an overview of the current status of City Facilities including an updated seismic
assessment of City Hall, 6300 Building, and the Community Center.
Item(s) for follow-up:
• Show what has changed since the last seismic assessment was completed.
• Provide information showing which buildings meet life safety minimums versus other
safety standards.
• Determine from Emergency Manager why Tukwila Community Center cannot operate as
an emergency cooling center.
• Provide information or scenarios from other cities on the status of their municipal
buildings.

MISCELLANEOUS
Staff provided an overview of the Consumer Price Index. Chair Quinn asked that it be distributed
to the full Council.
