Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Economic Development Plan Vision and Goals
Staff presented the draft vision and goals. Committee members discussed ideas including the
responsibility of the business community toward partnership and addressing the structural
imbalance of the budget, investment in shared value of diversity, resiliency and consistency,
being inviting to businesses from underrepresented communities, safety, labor conditions,
and using language around inclusion and belonging.
Committee Recommendation
Discussion only. Return to Committee in 2023.
