VIOLATION: GRADING/EARTHWORK WITHOUT PROPER INSPECTION AND/OR PERMIT,
INSUFFICIENT EROSION CONTROL, ENGINEERED PLANS AND GEOTECH REPORT REQUIRED
CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED:
1) IMMEDIATELY STOP ALL GROUNDWORK. COVER ALL EXPOSED EARTH
TO PREVENT FURTHER EROSION AND SEDIMENT RUN-OFF.
2) INSTALL ALL APPROPRIATE EROSION PREVENTION AND SEDIMENT
CONTROL MEASURES. SCHEDULE PRE -CONSTRUCTION MEETING WITH
PUBLIC WORKS INSPECTOR TO APPROVE WORK RELATED TO PERMIT
#D18-0170. SEE ISSUED PERMIT FOR INSPECTION SCHEDULING

3) SUBMIT COMPLETE ENGINEERED PLANS WITH GEOTECH REPORT FOR
SEPARATE PERMIT FOR RETAINING WALL AND ANY SITE
GROUNDWORK WITHIN 45 DAYS.
Any violation of a Stop Work Order may be prosecuted with a Notice of Violation and Order and is
hereby declared to be a public nuisance, subject to the assessment of penalties of $250.00 per day
for each violation and costs and legal fees necessary for abatement (See TMC 8.45.090 and TMC
8.45.120.A.2.a).
