The material submitted is approved, provided the following comments are incorporated into the drawings and the updated sets are submitted to the City of Tukwila for their review and approval. The 2007 edition of N.F.P.A. #13 was used as the basis of this review. Drawing Comments: 1. Sheet 1 of 1: Section 22.1.3(32) of the 2007 Edition of N.F.P.A. #13 requires a graphical scale to be provided for all plans and a scale is not associated with the "Lighting/Reflected Ceiling Plan". 2. Sheet 1 of 1: The H.V.A.C. supply grille locations are not indicated on the "Lighting/Reflected Ceiling Plan". All pendent sprinkler heads that are placed within 2'-6" of an H.V.A.C. supply grille shall either be relocate outside of this "zone of influence" or replaced with ordinary temperature rated sprinkler heads, in accordance with N.F.P.A. #13. 3. Sheet 1 of 1: General Note #10 references the 2002 Edition of N.F.P.A. #25. The fire protection sprinkler system contractor shall verify that the City of Tukwila does not require compliance with the current code editions, which would be the 2008 Edition of N.F.P.A. #25. Receiving an acceptance letter for the drawings does not relieve the contractor from meeting the requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction, and N.F.P.A during the installation.
