• Welcomed Ms. Kristen Schwabe -Fry newest ESJC Commissioner.
• Commission debriefed and discussed the Comprehensive Plan presentation from last
month's meeting. Interest in diving deeper into the Comprehensive Plan at least one or
two elements, particularly the housing portion. Commissioners felt they needed more
detailed information as the previous presentation was very high level. Importance of
the Commission to expose some blind spots, not just on the Comprehensive Plan but on
everything.
• Discussion of the 2023 ESJC budget and workplan
Budget brainstorm:
ESJC Retreats
Equity Training — invite other commissions
ESJC bigger picture planning
ESJC funding as a way to multiply
— i.e. ESJC would pay for translation of a Library Advisory Board Flyer
ESJ Training for the Commission and City leaders
