AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
REPEALED, RELATING TRANSFERS WITHIN
PROVIDEFOR AUHORITY TOCONTRACT
/5/q AND SERVICES, AND REPEAL ORDINANCE NO. 431 AND 950.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to RCW 35A.33.120 transfers within the basic
objects of the separate funds of the annual budget shall be by formal motion
of the Council. Request for transfers shall be made in writing to the Mayor
by the department head seeking the transfer. If the Mayor approves, he shall
present the request to the City Council for action.
Section 2. No salary shall be increased above the amount provided
therefore in the annual budget and specified in the adopted salary plan of
the City.
Section 3. When provided for in the annual budget, the Mayor is
authorized to call for bids on public works projects or procure goods or
professional services when the project or procurement does not exceed $25,000.
Section 4. This ordinance repeals Ordinances No. 431 and 950.
