Therefore a lateral check of the four buildings was not considered to be warranted. Untitled Map Write a description for your map. After discussing this permit (D18-0002) with all, we (I) decided the following: 1. The applicant will come in and provide the permit center with a request to cancel the D18-0002 permit. We will grant the cancelation and refund 80% of the permit fee (even though they have had inspections). 2. The applicant will submit everything as before (complete application, plans, et cetera) with correct address of the project on each. Lee, Allen, or I will take the new plans to the back plan counter and verify the new plans/submittals are identical to the plans/submittals originally approved by all departments. If so, (re)approve the plans and issue permit. 3. Add note in TRAKiT regarding this email in new permit # and D18-0002. 4. In the meantime, since this is a paper issue and they have a permit (two permits soon) inspections can proceed. Hi Jerry, I approved the permit for the one building indicated in the application which also is indicated on the plan with dotted lines around that specific stair well revision. I have had conversations with the architect and at the counter with the contractor. I pointed out to the contractor at the counter (and later the assumed architect) what I indicated above. I also explained these are two separate buildings with two separate parcel numbers. We require permits separate for each separate parcel even if the scope of work is the same. I believe I made it clear, one permit for each separate building with its own separate parcel number. I explained we do this with apartments for example where each are being reroofed or renovated. Each building is a separate parcel number and requires separate permits. If I am not clear enough then let me know. Hope this is helpful. Hello Alan, I understand your confusion, since one person owns both buildings. However, we issue a separate permit for each address. Otherwise, say an owner of 20 seperate buildings (which we have) could come in and apply for a reroof permit for one building and have five different contractors reroof all 20.
