This area is roughly 2150 square feet. Tear off the existing roofing down to the wood deck and dispose of debris. Refurbish existing drain and replace one drop scupper with new to match existing size. Raise the perimeter roof edge to accommodate new insulation. The new wood parapet will be roughly 10" above the roof decking. We will have our subcontractor handle the gas line disconnect and reconnect. Over wood deck install two layers of Malarkey 3.3" polyiso insulation ; one layer of 1/2" wood fiber board and mechanically fasten all layers with screws and plates. This will give you an R -value of 38 and meets current code. Over insulation install Malarkey M4-XHA roofing system consisting of three layer of #500 ply sheet set in hot asphalt and one layer of #502 white mineral surface cap sheet set in hot asphalt. All curbs will receive one layer of #502 SBS base sheet and one layer of #601 SBS white mineral surface cap sheet set in hot asphalt. Replace existing sleeper wood at the mechanically unit with new 4 X 12" fastened to the wood deck. We will have our subcontractor extend the duct work fitting to accommodate the new insulation. The existing electrical is a flex line and should not need to be extended. Install new 24 gauge pre finished sheet metal copings at the perimeter edge. Install new surface mounted reglet at the high wall and caulk with Sikaflex lA sealant. All the joints in the coping will receive the same sealant. Do all clean up and provide Stanley Roofing Two year Warranty. Provide Malarkey 10 Year No Maximum Limit Warranty. We will provide the permits. Total $35,577.00 Plus Tax. The State of Washington requires the owner to have an asbestos test perform by a certified testing company. (We know some and it will cost roughly $700.00 to have it done). This price is based on the existing roof not having any asbestos. If any is found we will need to provide an asbestos supervisor and suite up our men for one day. We have the training and required certification to perform work on non friable asbestos. Add to base bid above RECEIVED $1,700.00 Plus Tax. REV. 7/11 4-28 Specification Manual www.MalarkeyRoofing.com • 800-545-1191 BLUE RIDGE FIBERBOARD0 STRUCTODEK® HIGH DENSITY FIBERBOARD ROOF INSULATION N 0.002 DESCRIPTION STRUCTODEK HD is not only an integral roofing system component; it also makes roofing easier with physical properties that generate structural rigidity and dimensional stability. The wood fiberboard composition of STRUCTODEK HD possesses natural bonding qualities, resulting in superior adhesion capabilities. Adhesive tightly grasps the fibers of STRUCTODEK HD without causing excess absorption, providing a solid and secure roof system which bonds very well with many asphalt, coal tar, and cold -process adhesive products. The lightweight nature of STRUCTODEK HD is better than heavier alternatives and will keep the roof load below the specified maximum weight. USES STRUCTODEK HD can be used as an insulation board, cover board, or re-roof/recover board. STRUCTODEK HD is a high-density roofing board and is designed for low -slope applications and systems.
