Additionally, (1) existing equipment cabinet will be replaced with (1) new indoor E -CAB equipment cabinet mounted to existing concrete floor, at ground level. All engineering is in accordance with the 2015 IBC and the TIA-222-G standards. RESULTS: Based on our review of the new antenna mounting pipes, new FRP antenna screen, existing roof purlins and new RECEIVED CITY OF TUKWILA 1018 E -CAB anchorage with the proposed loadings, we have deterrnined the following: New Antenna Mounting Pipes: New FRP Antenna Screen: Existing Roof Purlins: New E -CAB Anchorage: Structurally Adequate Structurally Adequate Structurally Adequate Structurally Adequate PERMIT CENTER This Structural Analysis Report for the proposed Sprint equipment is inclusive of the entire equipment support structure (i.e. antenna/equipment mounting and support frames) and the existing building structures support system in the affected areas where the installations occur. This analysis is based on the specific assumptions and conditions as stated within the following report. As future loads are installed, the antenna mount should be re-evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If the existing conditions are different than the information in this engineering, Precision Design & Drafting Inc. should be contacted for resolution of any issues. Please refer to Appendix A for structural analysis supporting the above results. We trust this addresses your concerns. Please contact us if there are any questions. Assumptions — The following assumptions were made in order to complete the analysis of the structure. All assumptions MUST be checked. If any assumption is found to be inaccurate Precision Design & Drafting shall be immediately notified so that the appropriate changes can be made to this report. Assumptions are as follows: 1. The existing building and its foundation were constructed as shown in the original design documents, photos, and/or other documents. 2. The existing building and its foundation are in good condition with no corrosion, damage or fatiguing which could cause a reduced capacity in any member. 3. The existing building meets the current code design loads and parameters. 2 Conclusions New Antenna Mounting Pipes: Six new panel antennas and nine new RRU's will replace three existing panel antennas and three existing RRU's on six new 2" STD antenna mounting pipes, inside new 12' -6"x8' -6"x8'-6" FRP screen mounted to new sleepers attached to the existing building roof. The attached analysis shows that the new antenna mounting pipes are capable of supporting the design loads and were found to be structurally adequate. New FRP Antenna Screen: The new antennas, new RRU's and relocated microwave antennas will be installed on new antenna mounting pipes, U -bolted to the L3x3x1/4" FRP horizontal braces inside the new antenna screen, mounted on new 6x8 sleepers using 1/2" diameter lag screws at 24" o.c. The attached analysis shows that the new FRP antenna screen and associated attachments to new sleepers were found to be structurally adequate. Existing Roof Purlins: The new FRP antenna screen will be mounted on new 6x8 sleepers, attached to the existing 6-3/4"x36" glulam and 4x14 roof purlins at 8-0" o.c. spanning 24'-7". The attached analysis shows that the existing roof purlins are capable of supporting the design loads and were found to be structurally adequate. New E -CAB Anchorage: One new indoor E -CAB equipment cabinet (505 lbs) will be mounted to the existing concrete floor, inside the existing equipment room at ground level. The attached analysis shows that the new E -CAB anchorage is adequate to support the design loads and was found to be structuralily adequate. 11768 Atwood Rd, Suite 20, Auburn, CA 95603 Tel: (530) 823-6546 bret@pdnd.com Structural Analysis Report Carrier Site Number: SE52XC177 July 10, 2018 3 3 Disclaimers Installation procedures and related loading are not within the scope of this analysis.
