AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO INCREASE
THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION BUDGET AND AMENDING
1978 BUDGET ORDINANCE NO. 1045.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Civil Service Commission has experienced
an increase in the testing and selection of applicants for Civil Service
positions within the City, during the first half of fiscal year 1978; and
WHEREAS, this activity has severely impacted the Commission's
appropriated budget; and
WHEREAS, continued demand for the Civil Service Commission's
testing, interviewing and certification of applicants is anticipated
during the remainder of fiscal year 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The 1978 Annual Budget of the City of Tukwila as adopted
by Ordinance No. 1045, is hereby amended to include the following
transfer of funds:

003/516.20.10.00 (Personnel Services) $1,800.00
003/516.20.34.00 (Advertising) 500.00
003/516.20.39.00 (Rentals) 200.00
Transfer From:
009/519.90.52.00
