• Michael May, Parks and Recreation Manager is seeking input from the Commission
on how the Parks and Recreation Department can ensure that Tukwila youth are
served equitably.
• City staff will brief the commission on the 2nd Annual Juneteenth event planning and
on Juneteenth City Holiday.
• Commission to discuss and approve the Foster High School — Black Student Union
request for funds for fundraising opportunities on Juneteenth Celebration event.
• Essential services and City operation updates.
• Staff briefed the Commission on opportunities for chair roles within the commission
and expectations.
