You know your community best, and we need your help to better understand your neighborhood and the surrounding environment! An EIS is a process to evaluate potential effects that a proposed project may have on the built and natural environment. The first step in the EIS is called scoping. Scoping is where we ask you to share your input on what issues and what alternatives should be analyzed. The formal EIS scoping comment period will be from February 14th through March 15th. During this time, please send us a comment via email at Al lentownTruc kReRoute@Tu kwi laWA. gov. We invite you to an Open House on Tuesday, February 28th from 5:30 to 7pm at the Tukwila Community Center (12424 42nd Ave S, Tukwila, WA 98168) to learn more about EIS and provide comment. More information about the project can be found on the City website.
