VanDusen, Mayor June 6, 1990 1. The fire alarm system plans affixed hereto have been reviewed and accepted as meeting or exceeding minimum requirements of the City of Tukwila Fire Department, Bureau of Fire Prevention, with the following notes: Wire shall be in conduit or be UL listed Fire Protective Signaling Circuit Cable. (NFPA 72A, 2-2.1) (UFC 10.301) Detectors are required in the space above the ceiling. Provide remote indicator lights for these detectors. 2. Remote alarm and trouble annunciation indication is required if the control panel is not visible from the main entrance. (NFPA 72A, 2-4.4.1) (UFC 10.301) When the control panel is located inside a room, the outside of the panel shall have a sign with one -inch letters which reads "Fire Alarm" or "Fire Alarm Control". (UFC 10.301) Audible signal devices shall be installed to indicate a fire alarm condition. They shall be so located that their operation will be heard clearly, regardless of the maximum noise level. (NFPA 72A, 1-2) (UFC 10.301) Gl Local UL Central Station supervision is required.
