Users may view event log from Alpha Command Centers. Events may be retrieved remotely using RAM. Events are printed as they are stored in event log. D9131A Parallel Printer Interfaces can be installed to record events locally on one, two, or three printers (depending on model). Each can print opening and closing, access, alarm, Skeds, or any combination of events. Each can print information from any combination of areas. Each can supervise various printer status conditions. Event log and local printer are ideally suited for t - customers who like to have a record of openings and closings without having extra communications costs. Logger and RAM, can suppress reports and then retrieve events periodically using one phone call, rather than receiving several calls each day. When the panel's event log reaches its programmed threshold of stored events, it can send a report to a receiver to remind central station to retrieve events from the panel's event log with RAM. Initiating Fire Test Mode, sends' Fire Walk Start" to central station indicating start of test. Test events become 'local only." Command center shows how many points are to be tested. Each time a device Initiates an alarm, programmed point text displhys at command center and the fire bell rings for 2 seconds. Automatic sensor reset feature allows continued testing of devices without time consuming trips to manually reset sensors. At the end of test, command center displays the number of untested points.You can also view point text for each untested point. Ending Fire Test Mode, sends 'Fire Walk End" to the central station receiver indicating end of test. Combining Access Control with Security and Fire Detection (D7412G/D9412G) D9412G/D7412G combined systems can help prevent false alarms making it easy to use one system that • controls access, security, and fire functions. Access control features of D7412G/D9412G can deny access during armed periods, grant access only to certain authorized users depending whether an area is master armed, perimeter armed or disarmed. The D125B provides two separate NFPA Style A (Class B) 12 or 24VDC powered loops. The module supervises each of the loops for opens, shorts or ground faults. Both loops can be powered with either 12 or 24VDC to connect compatible 2 -wire detectors or other 2- or 4 -wire devices such as retarded waterflow switches, manual stations, heat detectors or glass break detectors. An auxiliary power supply is used in 24VDC applications, and provides power for the module and all devices connected to the two loops. The power supply is not provided 'with the unit. Any power supply Installed must be UL listed for use with Radionics fire products. Application The D125B is suitable for connecting fire or burglary devices in commercial, Industrial and institutional applications. The 0125B is compatible with retarded waterflow switches, 2 -wire and 4 -wire smoke detectors, non -powered fire initiating devices and 2 -wire burglary devices. Schools, offices, and health care facilities are typical commercial applications where the D125B may be specified. Installation The D125B Powered Loop Interface Module mounts in a Radionics enclosure using screws Included with the unit. 9 A D137 Mounting Bracket can be used to Install additional modules, or when installing the D125B in an approved adjacent enclosure. Separate enclosures must be within 20 ft. (6.1 m) of the panel enclosure and connected by conduit. The D125B requires an earth ground reference and a common reference with the control/communicator. The D125B provides a supervisory output terminal for each of its loops. D125B Powered Loop Interface Module All terminal designations are clearly marked on the module circuit board. Two 1.8k ohm EOL resistors are shipped with the unit to be installed after the last device on each loop. The 0125B shall be suitable for replacing Radionics D125 and D125A modules using the existing 1.5k ohm EOL resistor. Each D125B module shall support up to 25 Radionics 2 -wire 12VDC smoke detectors per loop. Operational Data Each loop of the D125B is supervised by a 1.8k ohm EOL resistor installed after the last device. The module detects opens, shorts or ground faults on the loop circuit wiring. Two supervisory output terminals on the D125B each connect to a zone or point terminal on the control/communicator. These output terminals are labeled A and B, and have internal 1k ohm resistance. An alarm on either module loop shorts the corresponding zone or point. A trouble on either module loop opens the corresponding zone or point. k. The Radionics D130 Relay Module is used for 24VDC applications. Power to the relay coil is interrupted momentarily by using a panel command center. This drops power to all devices on both loops. See the Sensor Rest section in the operation and installation manual for the panel being used. The D192C supervises the wiring to remote fire alarm indicating devices in compliance with UL 864 and NFPA 72. The D192C powers alarm indicating devices from either a panel fire alarm output or from an auxiliary power supply. This feature allows the system to support more indicating devices on longer wire runs. It also allows the use of 12 VDC or 24VDCowe indicating devices when using the appropriate Tha 0192C supervises the wiring to indicating devices for open circuit, short circuit, or grounded circuit faults. The D192C module also filters and stabilizes the control/communicator output voltage iso the indicating devices in the event the battery power interrupted. The D192C allows connection of either 12 VDC or 24 VDC polarized indicating devices when using the appropriate power supply. If the D192C detects any of these conditions, it causes a trouble condition on the panel's supervisory zone or point. The panel then provides an audible and visual warning at the command centers to alert on-site personnel. The panel can be programmed to provide indicating circuit supervision reports to a remote receiver. When the panel detects a fire alarm, the alarm output voltage triggers the 0192C to supply power the indicating devices. Disconnect Switch: switch that is The D192C module has a toggle used to disconnect power to the fire alarm indicating devices while testing the system. When the toggle switch is in the SILENCE (OFF) position, the D192C shorts the supervisory zone or point of the panel causing a trouble condition. When the D192C is mounted in a locked enclosure, only authorized persons can access the switch. 75-07081-000-B 4/94 Rcidionics Wiring Information Wire the D192C to the control/communicator according to instructions provided with the module. The D192C requires the following: • 12 VDC auxiliary power • Supervisory zone or point input • Alarm power input 12 VDC or 24 VDC • Panel common Connect the indicating circuit wiring to the D192C and put the 560 y EOL resistor after the last indicating device. The D192C shall provide indicating device supervision. The D192C shall be equipped and wired for supervised signal silencing and provide a means to sound a troublle signal should the silencing switch be left in the OFF mode during a normal condition in the system. Power Supplies: Only use the following auxiliary power supplies for UL installations: Alarm -SAF: 24 VDC, 4A AS-PS5-BFS-24UL 12 VDC, 4A AS-PS5-BFS-12-UL Alarm-Saf power supplies provide a voltage output to indicate trouble.
