WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has entered into an interlocal agreement with Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (PSRFA) for the provision of fire and emergency medical services effective January 1, 2023; and WHEREAS, the City has analyzed current Fire permit fees for various services provided including, but not limited to, permits, plan review and re -inspections; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recover a portion of the City's costs for processing of permit applications, plan reviews, re -inspections, and other services provided by the PSRFA; and WHEREAS, the Tukwila Fire Permit Fee Schedule needs to be updated to align with fees charged by neighboring agencies and to streamline the permitting process; and WHEREAS, the Tukwila Fire Permit Fee Schedule will be reevaluated in 2025 to ensure fees recoup the full costs of services rendered; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Repealer. Resolution No. 2018 is hereby repealed. Section 2. Tukwila Fire Permit Fee Schedule, Fire permit fees shall be charged according to the following schedule, which shall supersede any previously adopted fire permit fee, plan review fee or re -inspection fee.
