Arrangements should be made to allow a representative of this Bureau to complete a cover inspection of all piping before it is concealed by building construction and to witness tests of the local alarm and 2 -inch water supply test pipe. Completed copies of the Contractor's Material and Test Certificates for both the overhead and underground piping should be submitted to this Bureau. All piping, valves, and fittings should be listed and labeled by UL for fire service and installed, tested, and flushed in accordance with NFPA standards. A minimum temperature of 40°F must be maintained with a thermostatically controlled heating system in all areas containing wet pipe sprinkler equipment. 1. Acceptance is subject to provision of plans for detection system. 2. Pipe all drains to a safe point of discharge outside. If discharging drains to floor drains inside the building, the floor drain should be capable of accepting the full discharge of the main drain and test pipe when fully open. 3.
