The power for operating external devices is limited. Use Table A -2A (standby or non -alarm) and Table A -2B (alarm) to determine if external loading is within the capabilities of the power supply. Concerning 4 -wire smoke detectors: Be sure to power detectors from TB -4, Terminals 3 and 4.
