PECIFICATIONS1. : ' Furnish and install an approved residential fire sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13D, NFPA 13R or NFPA 13. The sprinklers used must be capable of covering a 16'x16' room utilizing a maximum flow of 18 gpm, flowing from a single sprinkler. This requirement must be achieved using either a pendent or horizontal sidewall sprinkler, with K factors of 4.3 or 5.8 as required. All sprinklers must be provided by the same manufacturer. The system should be designed to use a minimum of piping. To accomplish this, low flow horizontal sprinklers must be used wherever possible. The finish of sprinkler will be determined by the architect but must be available in the following finishes: Bross, White, Chrome, Block and Decorator Almond. Matching escutcheons must be available.
